We are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics in all aspects of our operations. This policy ensures that every team member adheres to principles of integrity, complies with relevant laws and regulations, and refrains from actions driven by personal gain.
Gifts, Favors, and Payments:
- Any gifts, favors, or payments provided by our organization must align with accepted business practices. They should be of limited value, comply with legal standards, and avoid creating any embarrassment if disclosed publicly.
- The organization does not permit any payments, commissions, or compensation to associates of customers without a formal written contract.
Gifts, Favors, Entertainment, and Payments Received:
- Associates must not solicit or accept gifts, favors, entertainment, or payments unless there is a legitimate business purpose. This is especially important when dealing with entities that do or seek to do business with our organization.
- While common courtesies in business are acceptable, strict guidelines are followed, particularly concerning gifts from suppliers.
Conflicts of Interest:
- Associates should proactively avoid any situation where personal interests conflict with the interests of the organization. Any potential conflicts should be immediately disclosed to a manager.
- This includes ownership in businesses that deal with or compete against our organization, serving in capacities with competitors, or any circumstances that could compromise the organization’s interests.
Confidential Information:
- Unauthorized disclosure or use of confidential information is strictly prohibited. Any misuse will result in disciplinary action, including termination, if necessary.
Compliance:
- Violations of this policy will result in appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Associates have a responsibility to report any violations they may become aware of.
Social Media Guidelines:
Introduction:
- Social media posts should be approached with care, as they are public statements that can have a lasting impact. Associates must familiarize themselves with the policies outlined in the Employee Handbook to ensure compliance.
Be Careful What You Post:
- Associates are personally responsible for their online activities. Inappropriate content, especially that which reflects negatively on the organization, may result in disciplinary measures, including termination.
- When referring to the organization, associates must make it clear that any opinions expressed are personal and not representative of the organization.
Be Respectful and Professional:
- It is essential to maintain professionalism and respect in all online interactions. Posts should never be offensive, threatening, or harassing.
- Privacy should always be respected, and no false or misleading information should be shared.
Be Honest and Accurate:
- Accuracy is key, and any errors in posts should be promptly corrected. Associates should be transparent about any amendments to previously published content.
Respect Laws and Confidentiality:
- All associates must adhere to legal requirements, including copyright, privacy, and confidentiality laws. Confidential company information must never be disclosed without proper authorization.
Report Your Concerns:
- If there are concerns about potential violations of this policy, they should be reported to Human Resources without delay. Retaliation against individuals who report violations is strictly prohibited.
Plagiarism and Fairness:
- Plagiarism is strictly forbidden, and all associates must ensure fairness by allowing all parties involved in a story an opportunity to respond and be heard.
