Infosys Announces Salary Hikes for Employees

Infosys, the third-largest Indian IT company, begins its salary increment to its employees from February 24, 2025. The raise would be between that of 5% and 8%, depending on the base salary and performance of the employee.

Who Is Getting the Hike?
The employees referred to in the above clause are comprised from band JL6 and below. These increases will become effective from April 1, 2025. The top performers will receive a higher increase of 10-12%.

Such evaluation of the company regarding its employees will be categorized into four performance categories:
– Outstanding
– Commendable
– Met Expectations
– Needs Improvement

Reasons For The Delay
Salaries are delayed by most IT companies other than TCS this year because of managing cost issues owing to the challenges in the economy and reduced spending by clients.

Other Reimbursements
Infosys may have to provide allowances and give other unique benefits for members in the taxable income bracket who would otherwise not get much of an increase.

History of Salary Hikes Given by Infosys
The last salary hike was in November 2023. In January 2025, they had announced a 6-8% annual raise for their Indian employees. The second phase of hikes will kick off from April 2025. Infosys employees over 3.23 lakh people and most of them would see their salary hike with the four quarters of FY25.
